I chose this name many years ago on KopTalk, it's starting to be more and more relevent all of a sudden......discuss.
 
No, it's a long road back to the top. We have a very long way to travel but I'm confident we have the right person at the helm and that we are heading in the right direction.

I'm hopeful that markmc's post is accurate re shopping at harrods rather than netto

We arent back just yet, but with FSG at the helm and Dalglish and Commoli running things we're definitely on the right track. Great times are ahead, I have no doubt that the last manager to win a league title with us will also be the next one to do so

We're certainly not "back", but there are many encouraging signs.
 
At least we've got a readable map, a good guide and money for supplies on the way too.

Far too early doors to be saying that but it's deco looking good.

The yanks are ushering in a new era both on and off the pitch.

The future is looking bright, even before a new stadium and half decent squad are in place.

As everyone else said, no, we're not back yet but I am extremely encouraged by the signs for the future. We still have our senior players at or near the top of their game for another couple seasons and, increasingly so, a group of young, talented, hungry players beginning to step in and fill the holes in the squad. We also have a manager who commands undying loyalty from the supporters and respect from the players. We have owners who seem able to smartly plan for the future, and who use resources efficiently while not being afraid to spend when necessary.

When we made the run at the title two seasons ago, I felt as though we may be on the verge of something special but the Alonso-Barry transfer saga really sapped that momentum and, from there, the rot began to set in pretty fast. If FSG had not come to the table when they did and had they not replaced Roy with the King, we were on a spiral to complete irrelevancy or worse. It's remarkable how much hope and optimism a few short weeks can bring. There is still a lot to do but I look forward to matches and hearing results again. I feel like we're in good, capable hands on the pitch and off it.

No mate it's not but I do like to visit the site and have done for years to appreciate and acknowledge good posters that frequent and have some good insight on the game.
I didn't and wasn't trying to be harsh on guy but 'Discuss' at end of a post, well, I find it annoying. But I like his optimism, we are back!!
