Finally got the chance to watch the Jamie Carra tribute on LFCTV which I recorded a few weeks ago and I was enchanted by Drogba, and his generous affectionate praise of Carra. He was lovely. This is a guy I probably was more disgusted by than any other player in his pomp for his wilful play acting, and no doubt, because I feared what he might do to my team on some level. Turns out I quite like him. Any hateful players you've learned to love, or even sneakily respect?

Always hated Drogba but he was an unbelievable player. A beast.

Another Chelsea player I respect is Lampard. He gives the impression his shit smells better than most and his dead mam celebration bugs me but he is a great player. Also, when his marriage broke down I recall his wife going to the press selling her story and slagging him off in public, he just said nothing and kept playing ball.

I dont know, it probably did have a bearing on the conversation. Having thoroughly emptied his body of excrement the night before left him free to converse as a normal person.

You can't legislate for cupid. And he could have went for much more of a bimbo type than her. The typical, vacuous, blonde, model-type footballers seem to favour. Instead he goes for someone with her own career in broadcasting, and who actually has something of a brain. It is another tick for me.

I think Frank Lampard is one of my favourite non Liverpool players ever. I think hes fucking brilliant and seems to be a total gent. Total respect for him, especially for putting up with that bunch of cunts for so long.
