Bendtner & Eboue off/gone as well. If Suarez and Gerrard are back we'll have a great chance of a result there.

I feel (slightly) for Wenger.

He's too good for them and could have any job in Europe and there he is begging players to stay with him so he can compete for fourth. Fuck that.

Fabregas I can understand. He wants to back to his club, and is waiving 4M quid to get that chance. He isn't even asking for a transfer. He's paid his dues at that club and is a fucking star on and off the pitch.

Nasri was another potentially good player before Wenger got him. Now he's one of the best players in Europe and won't sign a new contract cos he se's the fucking billions Man City are offering him. Fuck you, you Torres Mk II cunt.

I read that they're going to reinvest that 55M but it's not really the same is it. Fabregas is probably one of the best players they've ever had, and Nasri's an absolute star. Scott Dann doesn't really cut it does it?
 
If you believe what Wenker says he has the funds and it's his own fault.

If you don't believe what he says then he's sticking around for other reasons, one can only assume it's a huge financial benefit to him to let this happen

They'll get Mata which will be nice for them. There going to need to do something serious though to remain competitive.
 
they should mint a statue of wenger and plonk it outside the emirates. he has allowed arsenal to construct a world class stadium that will service them for hundred years and he has don't it with a negative net spend whilst ensuring they qualify for the CL every single season since he joined.
 
What does the debt matter? It's only good for one man, Kroenke.

The fans want titles, not a great business model and dividends for owners. Manure have had success after success owing tons. I don't care who owns us or how as long as it means trophies.

Anyways, I'm glad we play them next week before they'll have had a chance to get their shit together.
 
Apparently Wenger had conceded that Fabregas would go a while back and it was all about getting the right price but he has only sanctioned the sale of Nasri because some Japanese kid they loaned out last season has been granted a work permit and Wenger reckons he will be a superstar, that is a fucking mental gamble and one of the reasons that I kinda love Wenger. No matter who the player is he always believes that he can find and produce a better younger player, people forget that Fabregas is only in the team because he wouldnt take any crap from Viera about wanting mega bucks contracts at 30, and everybody said he was mental to let him go. Obviously it doesn't always work but he has some fucking balls, the fact he keeps that club competitive is insane, hes an embarrassment to pretty much every other manager in the Champions League
 
I like Wenger a lot.

Yes he's a bitter WUM at times, but he's a good character and a great manager. Arsenal should be always be grateful to him and remember that before Wenger they were nothing.
 
I think Ramsey will be great for Arsenal and will go a long way to softening the blow of Cesc leaving. That leg break has obviously hindered his progress as he was getting a foothold in the team at the time but now that Cesc is leaving I can see him getting a lot more playing time and shining.

I certainly agree that Ramsay will come into his own this season but I think Wilshere is more likely to take on the talismanic role that Fabregas is vacating. He did it for periods of last season anyway.

They're both in my FF team though. 🙂
 
They'll make £35M profit on Fabregas and have Wilshire and Ramsay waiting in the wings to replace him. That's pretty damn impressive.
