Wiki says £13 million, rising to £18 million in add-ons. Not quite sure why they didn't retain him this season and sent him out on loan instead.

Apperantly we scouted Wilifred Bony this weekend
Good stuff . Hope it is not the first game we looked at because it was not his best . He scored 2 against Ajax the week before and he seems to be available and looking for a move .

Looks a good finisher ans seem to have everything you want in a striker. Seeing as Vitesse are loaded I'm guessing he wont be cheap?

Twitter rumour about Villas agent saying Liverpool is his most likely destination.

Not a chance in hell, but fuck me that would have been ace!

wow - if that comes off let's hope it is not morientes mark II - admittedly very different types of players, but very few foreigners 30+ come to the EPL adapt and make it big. I can't think of one.

Some interesting comments earlier this evening from Alan Green on 606. He reckoned a deal bringing Huntelaar to Liverpool had gone quite a long way towards completion when Huntelaar's wage demands (£3 mill.a year reportedly) brought things to a halt.
I heard the same thing JJ, but I think it was Alan himself who thought the £3m would be too much for us

Noticed that RvP pulled out of Holland squad, and there was an interesting little point:

Huntelaar, who plays in Germany for Schalke, will feel the opportunity is deserved having scored 34 goals in 59 matches for his country compared to Van Persie's record of 31 in 71 games.

12 of those goals were against teams like Trappatoni's Oireland.
Oh then they don't count

That's how football works right? The quality of opposition determines how many points a goal is worth

For the seasoned football fan, yes. Are you seasoned Fabio? ARE YOU? (Pins Fabio in corner, while intimidating with Marty Feldman like eyes)
