How difficult

Would it be for me to get a ticket to a game towards the end of the season? Could be against anyone, as long as it's on the weekend. I have no LFC supporting friends, so going to a game has always been difficult, but strangely my girlfriend said she'd like to go the other week, so I might try and go along to a game with her before the end of the season. I have signed up for nothing on the official, can I still try and buy on general sale, or do I need to sign up for the ~£40 a month season card thing? Someone enlighten me please 🙂

The general sale is a nightmare. I've gotten on the queue about an hour before the scheduled time, and I couldn't even make it to the ticketing portal before they were all sold out.

Woland should be your best bet. I'm hoping he sorts me and my mates out out for Feb!

I tried to get tickets for the Swansea game this morning, two together.
There were 775 tickets on sale and they were sold out in less than two minutes

I went to villa. I didn't go the Southampton game I don't think. Pretty sure I was away.

I went to Norwich, Hull, and another one I've since forgotten.

Haha i remember how easy it was to get tickets for that. I remember going to a game that was only like 3/4 full!

The Hodgson season I went to shit loads of games. Pretty much cos there were loads of tickets people literally couldn't give away & I lived close enough to get there in time for kick off when it became apparent that there were blokes stood in the Harry with 20 cards & no takers with half an hour to kick off!

Haha yeah remember that one. Fuck that was a woeful night. Freezing, just after Xmas and we get beat 1-0 at home by wolves.

I said to my old man once (born and bred in Old Swan, old school supporter from the 40's onwards, followed the team abroad in the 60s etc) during the 2001 season, when I'd not been able to get to many games due to Uni/lack of funds, that we'd been doing better since I stopped going. His reply 'STAY AWAY!" and he fucking meant it. We won 5 trophies. Although I did go the the FA Cup final. Thought my jinx was still intact until Owen popped up.
