Anyone seen the new Hovis advert?
It's a kid going out to buy a loaf at the back end of 1800's (I think) as he walks home we are reminded of over 120 years of British history.
WW's, suffragettes, Titanic, coronation of Queen, 'we will fight them on the beaches' on the radio, Spitfires, Englands world cup win, miners strikes, not sure what the fireworks are all about? (millennium)set in Liverpool aswel.

(on a slightly less positive note, the comments just about sum up my feeling this evening (morning) there are some right morons out there, spending the time to comment and bang on about the war, and how great it is to be British and immigrants won't know that feels like and thank god for the BNP bla bla bla, and then the Manc morons complaining cos the advert is set in Liverpool!miserable gits...says me watching it and then reading the posts at 3am...I hate insomnia)
