Hi All - So I really want to come up to Liverpool for the end of season drinkies. I'm gonna miss the game as I've a wedding to go to during the day but it's only a couple of hours from London so no big deal. Anyway ALL the hotels in Liverpool are booked out - At least the ones with reasonable prices.

Any locals know anywhere do-able by taxi? Birkenhead maybe? I found a Premier Inn in St Helens but that seems miles away. Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers.
