Hey Jude

Bellingham doesnt have a release clause so I cant imagine Dortmund doing a future deal 12 months on.

I've seen him a few times playing for England, against minnows he has done well, but against better teams he looked average. Is he really worth €100m? I agree we need a MF and Jude at £50m sounds like a gamble worth taking but at €100m - I'm not sure, however saying that, how do you go against Klopp's judgement?

Let's be honest lads, most English/Irish/British attacking players are overrated and overpriced in this market. Maybe Jude will be the rare exception camp...

What's the rare exception camp
Kane
Sterling
Who else?

Given the war, energy costs, and supply issues it only makes sense that this above average Englishman would cost a hundred million. If I feel like I was raped when I leave the grocery store, why shouldn't fsg have a taste?

I don't see that quality though. Every club in Europe should be speculating on anyone who is English who has the slightest bit of technique. It's printing money.

We identified the player and the time frame we wish to go for the purchase.
Unfortunately there are other teams who might get involved and if that happens we are ready to go early.
That worked with Dias

Might be our hand is forced this summer with Jude?

I guess all we can do is hope he's as good as the last box to box midfield dynamo we bought from the Bundesliga.

We're in the beginning of one of modern history's worst global recession so i wont be complaining.

100M in all context and future valuation is a steal. He's 18 years old only for goodness sake. Sheyi Ojo is 24 yo. Know what i mean ?

Don’t we know he’s interested but its firmly a next season thing? We need to stop torturing ourselves with this

It was always going to be a next season thing for Bellingham - the difference with other players is that he genuinely seems to want to go to Liverpool - so if that’s really the case then he can avoid a bidding war by making that clear to Dortmund or if there is a release clause for next season - like a Haaland situation.

I think Salah is a separate issue and a successor for him will be brought in, regardless of Bellingham, if Salah departs next season on a free.

We’ll have someone lined up - no doubt.

Secure him now on a 3-4 year instalment plan and loan him back (for 10m fee).
Yeah I think Dortmund may tell us to do one to loan him back at a fee.

Agree we should do a Keita style deal if we can though. Only caveat to that is cash (as we have a big capital project at the moment), would require negotiations with Dortmund on the installments.

What are people seeing that I am not? I see a £50-60m player who s good, but I don't see the next Steven Gerrard for him to be valued at £100m. I think Olise is worth a gamble and he can play CM or RM. CP got him for £8.5m, so might sell for £30m?

Bellingham is special, your valuation is probably fair though.

Dortmund don't need to sell hence the outrageous fee.
