Happy Istanbul Day Lads!

The fact that Qatar City could win it there this year doesn't seem right. For the first (and, I hope, last) time in my life I'll be supporting an Italian team in the Final.

What a time to be alive.

Thinking back, it was better than the Klopp one. With that most recent one, you knew we had the team and it was almost expected at the start of the season.

At the start of the Rafa season we didn't know how we would shape up. Getting to the final was exceeding all expectations, nevermind winning it.

The single greatest night I've ever experienced in 60 years as a Red. For my money it pushes hammering Barcelona at Anfield in 2019 into second place for a whole bunch of reasons: (a) Milan were a massively better side in 2005 than Barcelona were in 2019, (b) we were far better in 2019, (c) we were at home then, where absolutely anything can happen on a European night, and (d) in 2019 we had a whole game, not just one half, in which to close the gap. Literally unforgettable.

This means the website will be legally able to buy us a beer in just over a years time.

Excellent!!!!

I seriously considered leaving at half time. I didn't [emoji3]

I went with a group of Irish lads & 1 Aussie guy - the Aussie guy left at half time saying he couldn’t watch any more of this shit….

Most of the Irish guys weighed up their options - and given it was 4am, realised that they weren’t going to get a beer anywhere else.

Keepers Arms in North Melbourne.

I still pretty much know the exact spot I got down on my hands and knees and kissed the ground.

When Stevie headed the first goal and Tyldesley was going "Hello! Hello! Here we go!" on the commentary, I thought to myself "Oh, give it a rest - you're just trying to stop people changing channels" and was tempted to switch off in response. I'll always be grateful that I decided to go the distance. 😎

gg I Knew at half time this was going to be the Best day of my LFC life I had a piss and a lad came in and said something like This is shit isnt it I said this next will be the the best 90 minuites of your life. I walked out of the pub and was tempted to turn arround and tell them. But there were Mancs and Bitters there as well so I diddn't. I rejoiced at thier oncoming fume. And went home to watch and scream with my family. Best day ever. Still gives me goose bumps of delight. The force was truly with us that day. Amen.
