I've just been telling Young Peggy all about Phil Boersma...A bit much on Sky, having Souey pontificate on the causes, seeing as we could barely get eleven fit when he was in charge.

Arsenal will pip us to that title at some point..Top of the league though.

FA should really consider giving clubs a break during winter. Dunno how though considering the cup competitions.
Reduce the number of teams in the league.
Are people blaiming Klopp for the injuries when we play so many games with virtually no rest between them?
That Raymond Verheijen sounds like a massive cunt
I said it when Klopp took over, we never looked particulary fit under Rodgers so the training intensity increase was absolutely required and the increase in injuries is something we just have to live with for now.
So is it fair to assume that as the players get more up to speed on Klopp's fitness regime the injuries will become less frequent? - i.e. it is a side effect of changing as opposed to the regime itself?
Surely at this time of year with at least two matches a week there would be very little hard training done, would it all not be about recovery sessions and rest for the players who are playing.
I think Klopp said yesterday that he had to take a look at the training now and will probably make some adjustments.
At the moment its probably just recovery work anyway. January is just one big match fixture. Which means that those not up to speed will be even more vulnerable for injuries like Ross said.
To be fair the ones criticizing Klopp are also having a go at the fixture list.
I think Klopp said yesterday that he had to take a look at the training now and will probably make some adjustments.
.
I got the impression that he laughed off the suggestion that the training was the cause, and specifically said that at the moment there is no training, only recovery.
Klopp responded sarcastically to suggestions that his training regime could be a contributory factor in Liverpool’s injury crisis, before saying that the hectic fixture schedule means that it is impossible to do much more than recover between games.
“Yes that’s it, we will look at our training!” he said. “We don’t train, we only recover, that is the situation now. When should we train? There is no training. But no problem, really.
“I am responsible for these things and if you want to make me responsible, then that’s OK, I know that’s the next step. We have five hamstrings [injuries] and it’s my responsibility, but it is like it is and now we have to see what we can do.”
