Rumours – Madrid in negotiations over Suarez and Coutinho

Real Madrid have made enquiries about signing Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho in the summer, according to FIFA agent Francois Gallardo.
In an interview with Spanish website La Sexta, Gallardo claims Madrid are hoping to secure a double deal for somewhere in the region of €80m.
Liverpool have players that tempt Real Madrid, they are: On one side, Luis Suarez and the other Coutinho.
Madrid has initiated negotiations for the next season. The cost of the operation should be around €80 million.​

This is from ITV not Marca. We turned down 48m euros for Suarez if they think his value hasn't appreciated this year they are just mental. Put a one in front and we'll start talking
 
80 million euros wouldn't buy you Suarez alone. For the two of them you're talking 120m at least
 
Coutinho is a massive talent, hes got to be 20m sterling plus. On the basis that this season suarez is the best around its £120m for me
 
I'd want 20m for Raheem & 20m for Sterling.

Seriously though, I wouldn't sell Sterling, not even for silly money, in a season's time that lad could easily be the most valuable player in the league. He has absolutely everything, is a baby (relatively speaking) & is only improving.
 
I don't see why Sterling would want to leave anyway as Rodgers' system gives him so much freedom it is an attacker's dream!
 
80 million euro for both? Like about 15 million euro less than Bale? As if. Suarez is worth at least what Bale was and Coutinho is easily in the 20 million bracket especially given his age and length left on his contract.
 
Are we talking sterling currency or Sterling the player?

The silly season has started, apparently, with Daily Mirror claiming Kroos has told his friends wants to move to Man U (and 200,000 sterling per week).
 
Coutinho has been no where near good enough this season to get in the team ahead of one of Modric, Isco, Di Maria, Bale, Ronaldo. We're going to have to get used to the Suarez links though, lets hope they get Aguero.

TBH we could see loads of big name players pushing for a move to Utd simply cos they know there's loads of places up for grabs & they will have to pay top dollar wages to attract them cos there's no champions league footy, but the players have relatively decent assurance that they will be in the Champions league next season to be in the shop window for the euros.
 
What happens if utd offer a load of 5 year 150k Contracts out this summer on top of the big earners they've already got and still don't make the cl next season, they've already got meaty debts.

One of the existing top four and utd could be in big trouble over the next few years, ffp might just save someone's ass
