Morning all,

What a horrible looking rollercoaster that was eh!

Just reading through and noticing that overall perhaps, on the sly, under the surface, on the lowdown etc but... expecting all to be gutted and angry in fact reading whats been written... is anybody else smiling like me??

Not massively chuffed or nothing but just subtle chuffed... a chufflette...A sneaky sense of smug.... optimistic even.... Kenny back showing us all why we love him, the team knocking it around again... one sulker fucks off and 2 exciting prospects arrive and owners who look like they actually do mean business... i swear thats blue sky up there isn't it??

After 3 years of misery actually feeling positive about the future for LFC. I can't understand some of the negativity on here to be honest

Me neither. Kenny just continues to instil belief and optimism throughout the club, the owners have signalled their intent for the club and all things considered, the Torres deal will work out for us.

I think some people have forgotten how close to the brink we actually came.
sure, we had a profit in the transfer window (again) for the 4th time in a row BUT every penny of that money went on transfers rather than paying off debt. that should be cause for celebration.

But a point I made earlier is mainly due to the timing of the departure of Torres. We had little time for negotiations

New owner, new manager, new players (good players that broke club records), couldn't have asked for more, really.

Hey... no-one was more negative than me Sunny I swear...at times it actually depressed me in an almost clinical way... I don't know what it is but it just feels like that last storm didn't do the damage we thought it would, maybe its just having kenny back i don't know... I genuinely feel better about the team prospects now, for this first time in a LONG time i can see us heading in the right direction and i'm loving the feeling.

I can't even be arsed to hate Torres, give a fuck about him, why waste the mood with negative shit... Kenny is right its the name on the front that matters and we've got the bestest proudest name going.

Things are as the should be somehow, there is the hill in front of us and we are all united again and not whining fully intent on going up it, everyone might be laughing and saying we cant do it but... fuck me its exactly like the song says... Just as it should be. We WILL be gathering those cups in may i can just feel it.

fucked being a little bit chuffed Ive got my club back!

Kenny is driving us in the right direction. With him at the helm I'm confident of a bright future.

Deffo. Getting everyone to pull in the same direction and if youre a mardy cunt then you get fucked off. Good way to go about it. Old school. Hard. Mean. Skillful. Clever. Tactical. Boss.

Agreed.... A sense of new dawn has arrived at Anfield.... The excitment of new young prospects should lift the team.

Now i am going to say something whacky....

If you go back in e-season videos on the offal and look up Derek Acorahs interviews done before Instanbul he mentions 2 cup wins! He then from memory mentions 4 cup wins a time after these... He got the 1st part right.....

Could we be about to fill the trophy cabinet some more?

If someone has an e season could they confirm this?

I know,I know...soz.

Just worried about money available in the summer

I was hoping for more money from the sale, but that wasnt going to happen after him dropping us in the shit.

All of it was spent on players, none went to Nesv, none went to RBS and thats already a good thing.

To be honest I'm not overly confident, but at least there's hope. Unlike when Hodgson was here.

I've had a growing feeling of chaffed, but that's a horse of a different colour.

Over the moon.

A little scared with how Suarez and Carroll will do but yeah on the whole and for the club in general, very happy.

I can't believe you needed to ask.

He's our new left-back, one for the future.

to be fair it was more like two years of misery rather than 3 as the yanks spent in the first year (to bring in torres, babel, yossi) but later put it all back (and then some) on the club.

Derek Acorah is Liverpools leading Spiritualist! Here he is in action!!

Mary Loves Dick - Most Haunted

Did you watch it?

Its funny as fuck but he was trying to be serious.

When he gets 'possessed' has me in fucking stiches.

There are so many reasons to be optimistic.

I also like the fact that with Torres gone and Kenny in charge, we won't have any issues with player power for a while.

I'm not rawkishly suggesting that they were a toxic influence, but between them Torres, Gerrard and Carra have held too much say in the last few years.
You could understand Stevie and Carra feeling that it was almost their duty to point out how Liverpool Football Club should run.

You can't see 'em trying to guide Kenny in the Liverpool Way, can you?

the measure of respect the fans have for kenny is epic. can you imagine the liverpool sites if roy spent 35m on carrol? ha ha that would be fucking brilliant.

I don't know though; I think the views would be the same tbh..

Good player; potentially great player...but massive gamble.

Though there'd defnitely be zero faith in Hodgson's ability to make him a great player.

Roy would have bought Carlton Cole.

For £20M.

Then, the internet would have ended.
