Some of whom didnt have their best days with us but still.
What a roll call. Havnt we been ridiculously blessed down the years
For all our tribulations I cant think of a time when we didnt have brilliant forwards.

Whos could compare to that for 50 years?

Barca have had Maradona, Messi, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Cruyff, Stoichkov, Kluivert, Villa, Ibrahimovic, Henry.... fucking hell!

Yes they have had the above - and they have been world stars, but at the same time - some of those players when coming up against us in CL, or Euro games have shown fuck all. In response to the original post - I have always thought that - every time someone leaves up front, I always think to myself Oh - God who will ever replace him ? - then another shinning star comes along. You are right we have always been blessed with talent up front more so than we have had talent in defence.

In response to the international stars that have made it big which Barca have had - we have also had an international top scorer in the European finals in Milan Baros (yes that guy who never looked up !!!).

We didn't between 2004 and 2007. Three years out of the last god knows how many is not bad though.

Barnes was a forward. I'd also add Beardsley to that top list. We were also lucky to have Fairclough, Johnson, Walsh, Kuyt, and Crouch. But that's just my opinion. I await Rosco to come along and act like a complete twat and tell us all how he knows everything and none of us know anything. The cunt.
