5-0 Liverpool. Torres 5.

My fantasy football team would like that a lot.

Forecasting Derby match results is a mug's game.

If you were determined to bet, a grim 0-0 midfield tussle is a common outcome.

I have bet a tenner on somebody being sent off at some stage.

I won a double today by betting on an all-Chinese final in the snooker.

Y1, are you listening?? ;D

What? What? 0-0 or all Chinese final? 😉
Am afraid I do not know how to bet. And if I do I will lose.

Ha ha!

In the semi-finals of the Snooker Masters, Marco Fu from Hong Kong was playing Mark Allen, and Ding Junhui from the Republic of China was playing Jamie Cope. I had a hunch that Fu and Ding were going to play each other in the Fina, so I put a "double" on them to win their semi-finals.

I'm surprised you don't bet old chap - most people in South East Asia seem to be gambling mad! But you are right, hardly anyone avoids losing in the long run.

I learnt my lessons as a young strapping boy. I lost too much precious pocket money for comfort. So when I learnt statistics, it was a no brainier that 99% will lose on the long run gambling with the big boys. Might as well stay out of it. Fun games of even chances with friends is different, never in casino or syndicated bets.

Let's hope Dalglish doesn't pick a worse startling eleven that Hodgson. If he manages it two games in a row then he can piss off.
