Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has won the PFA Player of the Month award for October.
The Uruguayan, who returned from a 10-match ban last month, has struck four goals in three games during the Autumn month. Suarez returned to face Manchester United in the Capital One Cup in September, however it was later that month against Sunderland where he made his bow in the Premier League.
He struck twice at the Stadium of Light, however his form continued into the month of October, enabling him to claim the PFA award.
He struck on his return to Anfield, against Crystal Palace, during a routine 3-1 win for Liverpool.
The man who was targeted by Arsenal during the summer transfer window, won the penalty at St.James Park which saw Yanga-Mbwia sent off and he provided the assist for strike partner Daniel Sturridge to level up the game at 2-2.
Suarez then had an afternoon to remember in the last game of October at home to West Brom, by claiming a hat-trick at Anfield last week. Suarez's first goal is a contender for goal of the month and his second one was no different, a majestic header from 18-yards out.
Suarez got to keep the match ball and will now get to keep the award for the PFA Player of the Month.
