That was probably his way of trying to be funny. But it came out as nasty and rude because that is the way he is.

Every now and then I find myself starting to hate Ferguson a bit less so I'm always grateful for incidents like this to bring things back into perspective.

Somehow he has managed to create an atmosphere among journos that they are not to be singled out as the reason for "the reatest manager ever" is not talking to your paper or tv station.... They are soft pussys looking for hits and accounting numbers rather than actually being journalists.

I was talking to someone in the game (so to speak) the other day and he saying what a closed group it is.

I'm guessing journalists don't want to get shut out. If there is one person you don't want to get on the wrong side of, it's Ferguson.
