Strangely, after Madrid, not many of us have complemented them. Which means to me, they are doing a great job and being taken for granted a wee bit. You'd have to say they are a really great ownership group.

- They've invested well in us
- They are in for the long haul
- They are definitely better than the last American owners
- They brought Klopp in
- They've put together a good management team overall
- We're commercially in excellent shape
- They've kept at it, even after some not so good initial decisions.

So you'd have to say not only are we very lucky to have them as owners in this day and age of dodgy owners, but is there any ownership group that is better?

On one hand it feels a bit strange to congratulate them for running their business well because I'm sure that has its own rewards but on the other a read of any Newcastle related story brings me back to the H&G / Hodgson / I give up on football days.

Yes they have been good. However, i am a bit worried by JH's latest comments and am wondering if this summer we really are gonna skip on getting decent replacements for sturridge and any other candidates to fill the coutinho hole. Also with the CL win, what do they plan next coz that was the big one for them. I am hoping they still want to grow this club and actually make it a massive mother fucker like the mainclubs of spain, germany and italy. Once we win the league i really hope we become a club that will be forever winning the league like Juventus , and Real/Barca do. That should be the main goal for them. We should aim to be that club that gets the super stars and can afford the massive wages etc.

They've been great, and Klopp and Edwards have been even better.

I am starting to wonder if they are even better than any of us have given them credit for. Look at the transfer figures being bandied about at the moment (Maguire is a good example). Will the trend continue and we will be seeing 100m+ transfers as the norm in a couple of years?

Maybe our owners and their fancy data models have got our big buys in just in time and will now sit back and let everyone else overspend in this window, while planning a few more smart buys for next year.

Or maybe we just can't afford to buy anyone after putting all our eggs in the Mbappe basket.

Nah... the market went nuts after the Neymar transfer and we were forced to pay top whack for our buys.

Best owners we've had since the club was run by Robinson and Smith. Learnt from their mistakes early doors, rectified it, appointed brilliantly, the ground is incredible and plans for even more development. New training ground on the way, a manager any other club on earth would take if they could.
97 points.
6th European Cup.
No debt.
Edwards.
A record breaking shirt deal in the pipeline.
I could go on.

I thought it was FSG. Can they deliver the title though and do what it takes to get us over the line. so far so good

Didn't they massively back their rounders team in the states just after they'd won the league?

I don't think it's a matter of them not backing the manager or team, they could buy a few huge players & still benefit from massively revenue & profits, I think Klopp is genuine in his meritocracy & team spirit beliefs & doesn't want to risk upsetting that by bringing in players for the sake of it.

Of all the reports I believe, its the ones saying we just have a couple of places we want to fill, but if a big price player comes up that Klopp wants we will be in for them too.

Personally I think we are crying out for a fourth forward, & would love us to spend big to fill that gap, but think it's more likely we'll try to do something like Fekir on the cheap (relatively speaking) to fill that role.

Come on now, you're better than that. You make not like or understand baseball, but it's an incredibly skilful, nuanced and tactical game with an amazing history and some wonderfully weird and idiosyncratic things that make it unique.
And yes, they did.

It's Rounders for stat-obssessed autists

Baseball is so fucking shite. I went to see the Dodgers and was there for 4 hours, almost fell asleep. Sorry @silversean

In relation to FSG, sign Mbappe you cunts.

The only thing keeping you awake was the hooters ladies constantly pushing their matchday revenue by serving cold Beer I assume
