Of course there's been some fuckwits shouting that the goal decision was karma. It's not karma you twats, its bad officiating.

I am really impressed by what Rodgers did at half time. He realized the 4-3-3 wasn't working, and it was allowing Everton to create too many opportunities. He adjusted it to a 3-5-2 (or 5-3-2 I guess), and Everton's advantage was nullified. If Sterling was more on form (someone said he needs a break, and I hope Rodgers doesn't even name him on the substitute bench on Wednesday), we'd have won this game ... if the linesman had done his job, we'd have won the game. It was a good game - a lot of kids got good experience, and I think we're still on the right path. I doubt we'll finish close to 4th Froggie (though my heart is saying we will - the team is capable imo), but the foundation is being laid. Get a good striker on loan (or permanently) in January, and 2-3 good signings in the Summer, and I think we can expect top 4 next year.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic but something just feels right about this manager and where we're heading.

We were robbed with the Suarez goal but I'm sure the 2 cool 4 school fuckwits will be on shortly to tell us how wrong we are.

Oh and who wants Jones ahead of Reina for the next game?
Ha fucking laughable.

Boss buzz at Goodison today, ours supporters were tops. Suarez is a god, love the little fella. Feels like a defeat though.

Yes Jones was poor. And what the fuck Enrique was doing for their second......

Anyways after our game me and me mate decided that 3-2 away was the result that got away and stuck a fiver each on it in the Chelsea game. Was a bit weird wanting the mancs to win but it returned 130 so whatevers.

Even though we got royaly fucked by the linesman and were under the cosh for the last 20 mins of the 1st half, I think the players can be proud of their performance.
Average age of 23,5 years. Starting with a 17, 18, 19 year olds who played their first derby aswell.

Great experience for them and I think the future is bright.
If we can, for once, have a successfull transfer window in January - I think this team will really move forward.

Don't know whether anyone else mentioned it, but it was a big decision at half time by Rodgers and one that paid off almost in that he combated Merales (sp?) and added a bit of aerial presence where we were struggling. Coates helped shore things up AND provide an aerial threat at the other end.

Fair play, it's been a while since we've seen something so bold when it comes to subs. Just a shame we never got to throw Assaidi on too.

You're right, but to be picky, Miralles went off at half time too I think. Replaced by the brilliantly named magueye gueye

Loved the bottle by Rodgers. It's hard to dislike him

Yup, but I guess we weren't to know he was going off, and Rodgers mentioned it in his post match comments that he was causing us a problem down that side and that's why he changed it.

Did he mean to drag his studs down the back on Distin's ankle?

Moyles seemed to think so, too be it didn't look like he was meaning to do it.

I tell you what, do you know where is a good place to see more about this? In the thread all about it, that is where.

Will anything happen to Everton for the coin been thrown onto pitch ? It's becoming a common occurrance for them.

Still can't get over the length of time it took for the lines man to lift the flag, the Everton players who called for the off side will be happy men tonight as it then influenced the lines mans decision.
