I am really impressed by what Rodgers did at half time. He realized the 4-3-3 wasn't working, and it was allowing Everton to create too many opportunities. He adjusted it to a 3-5-2 (or 5-3-2 I guess), and Everton's advantage was nullified. If Sterling was more on form (someone said he needs a break, and I hope Rodgers doesn't even name him on the substitute bench on Wednesday), we'd have won this game ... if the linesman had done his job, we'd have won the game. It was a good game - a lot of kids got good experience, and I think we're still on the right path. I doubt we'll finish close to 4th Froggie (though my heart is saying we will - the team is capable imo), but the foundation is being laid. Get a good striker on loan (or permanently) in January, and 2-3 good signings in the Summer, and I think we can expect top 4 next year.
Maybe I'm being too optimistic but something just feels right about this manager and where we're heading.
