Excellent that the same day Riley says it wont help talking about decisions and officials, we get fucked royaly.

Cant wait for the luck to change (as if)

It's getting to the point now where I'm not even arsed about refereeing decisions going against us. It's a pleasant surprise when it doesn't happen.

What did Gary Neville say about the decision?

End of the day, though, we were shite and it's absolutely criminal how we lost a 2 goal lead. Didn't deserve to win and we didn't.

Calls won't go your way every game ... but that's a massive call to blow in the 94th minute. If it's a foul on Coates, I can accept it as he was all over him. But offside? Come on.

If you think Coates fouled the player then surely it's right that the goal was disallowed?

Jones punch cost us 3 points here ... It was what Everton needed to get back into the game. A pure gift, and they took advantage of it. We should be happy with a draw, but the team fought and Rodgers' half time changes were good.

Agreed. We needed to hold the 2-0 lead for at least 5minutes. But instead his poor punch gifted them a way back into the game quickly.

Thats beside the point though, if he isnt waving is flag for a foul its a goal.

Fellaini got away with what Coates did all game aswell

The live footage looked fine. On replay, it's seem that Coates fouled him (I don't know 100% what the rule is if the player doesn't jump and you use him to climb - as it's done on so many free kicks etc) but as that wasn't the call, then the call was terrible and cost us 3 points (which tbh, we didn't deserve - 1 point was fair).

True but didn't look like a foul to me. He had the run on Jageilka and simply attacked the ball better.

I'm not saying it was a foul, I just don't get the logic of complaining about a goal being disallowed for one reason when it should've been another. What fucking difference does it make?

I think it's to do with the reason it was disallowed. The ref didn't see the foul, and there was no offside, so the goal should never have been disallowed regardless of the foul.

However, I agree, I suppose. If there was a foul the goal shouldn't have stood. I haven't seen it again with a decent angle so can't really comment.

Moyes, to his credit, said he would probably have celebrated the same as Suarez if he'd been him. You could tell he was mightily pissed off at Neville's dive, which basically ruined his chance of complaining.

We should be happy if we are not scrapping at the bottom for a year of rebuilding under a new young manager with a new young team.
It isn't about a 'new young manager with a new young team', it's about implementation of the Rodgers system and the quality of your players (of whatever age). There are lots of positive signs already, quality wise we are better off than last season and if we can start hitting the net a bit more before January (when I'm confident we'll have a new striker or two and Borini back) then 4th is not beyond us. Name 9 teams better than us ? Name 6 better than us ? There aren't, so there is no way we should finish outside the Top 6 and IMHO we'll not be far off 4th.

I think expecting us anywhere near the top four this season is mental

Chelsea , Citeh, manu spurs gunner Everton Newcastle wba Fulham for now better than us. Until we beat them we can't be sure

Suarez brings it on himself -- its obvious that if he celebrates goals then that is going to be at the back of refs' & linesmen's minds and they will understandably disallow perfectly good goals. Today he went too far by taking the piss out of Golluim and we paid for it in the end.

If he just did the corinthian handshak thing when he scores and preferably apologises to the keeper we would be so much better off.

Sell!

"Not far off"

"near"

fairly similar.

We'll be 8th -10th. and about 15 points off the top four pace at least

I sincerely doubt that. Even Arsenal and Spurs are struggling to put a strong of results together. Only the Top 3 now are going to waltz away.

Why do we need two new strikers if we're better than all of these teams?
You will have noticed of course that I said at the end of the season .. and that would include having bought these strikers in January that I mentioned. Oh no you didn't 😉
