No foul. No offside. Goal.

Everton player backing into a flying Coates, never a foul.

Linesmans 'offside' ruled the goal out.

Poor poor luck for us.

As I've said countless of times part time fuckers making such massive calls.
Get instant replays in there

He was awful, some of his poor decisions include, not giving Everton a penalty, booking Agger when he was fouled, not sending off Jagielka for fouling Sterling, and a host of free kicks given to Fellainin when he was the person fouling. The decisions probably balanced out but he had a shocker.

I think we were actually lucky that Jagielka fouled Sterling because he had no chance whatsoever of getting to the ball. It wasn't a goal scoring opportunity so a yellow was the right decision.

Fellaini got away with murder though. As usual.

Fucking joke. How many points are shit ref's decision's going to cost us?

Nowhere near as many as not having another striker and a so-called tiki- taka style that now includes the keeper hoofing the ball aimlessly up the pitch, no midfield and a shagged out kid on the wing.

And in spite of all of that, we still should have won. Away, at Everton, who are flying. Yet a refs decision costs us 2 points. . .

Speaking of which - has Şahin been yanked in every game he's started now? I know he's playing in a bit of a crap team, is new to the league and all that jazz but so far he's not really making the impact we'd hoped.

i've not really seen anything from him that's overly impressed so far . He's obviously technical and all that but he doesn't really do much at all .
I guess we just have to hope he improves but if he doesn't at least we don't have to keep the fucker.

Everton are unbeaten at home this season including a win against United. They are a very good team and we went there and played some good football. Admittedly for the last 25 minutes of the first half we were under the cosh but, again, you expect to be under the cosh when you play away against good teams. After the break we rarely looked in danger and we played a clever counter-attacking game and should have won it at the end.

2-2 at Everton is a decent result, the performance was ok and we won't have many tougher away matches this season.

Sorry disagree. Agger - obviously given for handball and I don't think it was a clear foul. Penalty - agree, but then I'm not complaining. Jagielka - not last man or a goal scoring chance. Fellaini - this went 50/50 all game. I think it is only bias that would say he had a shocker. He thought he was fair all game and used his linesmen when they made the call.

If it wasn't for the amateurish defending, the game should have been over when we were 2-0 up. A poor decision cost us yes but we shouldn't have put ourselves in that position in the first place. This team is mentally weak and there are no signs it is about to change.

At least 20 times today I was sat swearing at the lack of opportunities for our goalie when restarting game. Obviously they wanted him to hoof but why no Allen or Gerrard to give ourselves options?

Barca, Ajax et all that wants to rule possession and dictate game would never accept so many aimless long balls from the back. Even our freekicks in our own half saw Agger with rather aimless punts upfield too often resulting in loss of possession.

Oh and another thing. Our set pieces. Am I the only one being so fed up with them??

I've been on this case for a few years now with Gerrard's often poor delivery especially from corners being a great issue for us. It is just getting worse isn't it, we are really squandering good opportunities hitting them so poorly.

Certainly not bias Froggy, I said his poor decisions balanced themselves out and I didn'tblame him for the disallowed goal at the end but that was the linesman fuck-up.

The 4th official Phil Dowd looks totally unimpressed. Again, as funny as it was, Suarez isn't doing himself or us any favours there.

Good tactical change at half time. Steadied the ship. Defended better in midfield. Sterling causing problems running at them. Suarez brilliant as usual. On overall game, a point is not bad but could have been better for a an undeserved win. Goal was good. Looks like BR has a plan B. Consolidation this year. Maybe best position is 6th but 10th is more likely.

This, all day long! The negativity in here is well over the top. That was a bloody good point, and bar a shite call, we would have won. Wind yer necks in lads.

+1

I thought the second half was a huge improvement as we were in the shite at HT. Kudos to Rodgers, superb tactical change and for the last 20-30 mins we looked the more likely to score.

Is it a dive though? To me it looked more like an WWF bodyslam-something?

Jones punch cost us 3 points here ... It was what Everton needed to get back into the game. A pure gift, and they took advantage of it. We should be happy with a draw, but the team fought and Rodgers' half time changes were good.

As Keni said, I'm a bit worried about Sahin. Not sure why he's being taking off every time at HT. It's not like he's playing poorly. Maybe trying to ensure his price doesn't jump too much?
