I would prefer Shakhtar. Not just because they are my former favorite team, but because I think their style suits us the best. Spanish teams will be tougher.
The Sevilla keeper looks proper dodgy. They do the Barcelona thing in goal - the other keeper Rico starts the league games and also the CL group stage games while this chap, David Soria, starts the EL games and some of the Copa games. Sevilla did drop Soria once they reached the semis of the Copa though, so they'll probably do the same here.
If say the winners of the CL and Europa League were from the same league but both (winners) finished outside top 4, would that mean those that finished in 3rd and 4th then fail to qualify for Europe?

For example, say City and us won the CL and EL respectively, and both didn't make the CL cut through the league. If I understood the rules correctly, it works out like this:
3rd place team -> CL group stage
4th place team -> EL group stage
CL winners (City) -> CL group stage
EL winners (us) -> CL playoffs (i.e. the round before group stage)
Thankfully, we just need to win the EL and City will take care or their own CL elimination so we don't have to worry about unraveling all this mess.
