Is today.

Liverpool could face Dundee United in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, which is due to be drawn on Friday.

The Reds have been seeded in Group Two alongside Dinamo Moscow, Steaua Bucharest, Bursaspor, the winners of Young Boys v Zimbru Chisinau and Mura 05 v CSKA Sofia.

They will be drawn against an unseeded team from the same group, potentially lining up a clash with Dundee United, who achieved back-to-back qualification for the Europa League.

The Reds could also face Ukrainian side FC Arsenal Kyiv or the winners of NK Osijek v Kalmar FF, FC Spartak Trnava v Sligo Rovers, Maccabi Netanya FC v KuPS Kuopio and FK Renova v FC Gomel.

If Liverpool ever get drawn against a Greek side, how would I go about getting an away ticket? You know, so I'm not sitting in among the Greek fans who will all instantly lynch me.

I'll get you one. I mean I think I probably could.

Guess the nationality: KuPS Kuopio - Finns.

No problems. It starts getting hard when we get Real Madrid in a semi and stuff but there'd be no probs getting a ticket for any of these Europa aways.

I hope we get Aberdeen, just so there's the least disruption from travelling etc possible.

What - are you planning time or inter-dimensional travel?

That would be the only way we're drawing Aberdeen.

Exciting in the sense that it'll be Rodgers' managerial debut in European competition + I'd expect more youngsters to be involved in Europa League this season than last + a chance to see how Rodgers' style of play and tactics work against various clubs.

Yes, exciting in that sense.

But they lost the 1st leg at home 2-0 and FC Gomel are in the midst of their Belarus league campaign too, unlike the Macedonia league that's in pre-season stage

How the hell do you manage to know so much about football mate?

I don't like the idea of going to Belarus, isn't that country still run by a communist dictator?

I don't know if they're commies but it's ranked as number one of the least 'free' countries in Europe.
