Right now this is showing a game from 1980 vs Aberdeen.
Its Fergies first game as manager against Liverpool.

And we whopped them. 5 nil on aggregate with Mcdermott scoring a wonderful chip from a tight angle in the away leg. It was a truly wonderful goal.

Also Paisley played the mind games with Gordon Strachan. Told the press he was a brilliant player and then Strachan set about showing everyone that he was and ended up being a greedy git which meant he was easier to contain. Paisley said he liked to give the opposition a bit of toffee before a game!
 
McDermott is criminally underrated these days. I thought he was one of the most fascinating players I've ever seen - his runs, his timing, his technique, his stamina, his shooting, he was incredible.

I agree. He was my first favourite player.
