Just saw an ad for this. ESPN's 30 for 30 docs are typically fantastic, so I'm very intrigued.

[article=http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2014/01/espn-announces-new-film-series-30-30-soccer-stories-surrounding-2014-fifa-world-cup-espn/]ESPN Films, creators of the critically-acclaimed 30 for 30 film series, will premiere a new series in April surrounding the 2014 FIFA World Cup on ESPN. 30 for 30: Soccer Stories will include a mix of standalone feature-length and 30-minute-long documentary films from an award winning group of filmmakers telling compelling narratives from around the international soccer landscape.

“With ESPN being the home of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, we know that sports fans will be looking forward to high quality content focused on what is perhaps the world’s most revered sport,” said Connor Schell, VP of ESPN Films and Original Content. “We feel this is the perfect time to expand upon the success of our 30 for 30 series by focusing this collection on some of the incredible stories of soccer’s legendary past.”

30 for 30: Soccer Stories will air on ESPN as follows (all times Eastern):

Tuesday, April 15, 8 p.m. – “Hillsborough”
Tuesday, April 22, 7 p.m. – “Maradona ’86” followed by “The Opposition”
Tuesday, April 29, 7p.m. – “The Myth of Garrincha” followed by “Ceasefire Massacre”
Tuesday, May 6, 7 p.m. – “Mysteries of the Rimet Trophy” followed by “Barbosa: The Man Who Made Brazil Cry”
Tuesday, July 1, 8 p.m. – “White, Blue and White”[/article]

Will be watching in the US.

Also, I'm not sure where to put it, but I just wanted to tell all of you who were affected by Hillsborough that we love you and we're praying for you.

Apparently this won't be shown in the UK (not sure about elsewhere) until the latest inquest is complete?

I'm expecting (please!) someone to post a link to the full documentary when it becomes available.

Just finished watching it. They highlight the chant for Justice at the 20th Memorial Service, and the 2012 report.

What can I do to help these families?

It was sad viewing. I was shouting at the tv at one point. There's nothing that sickens me like people, doing wrong and trying to blame others.

Any links that are found online can be found in contempt of court and damage the inquests.. be careful on posting any direct links yo

Wow, didn't realize Kenny was also present at the Ibrox disaster in 1971 as well. 66 killed/crushed. He'd seen it before.
