Listening to pundits and commentators talking about how domineering and so much stronger the EPL is, and UEFA might be concerned at the growing gulf, made me think of them as Little Englander mentality.
Spanish teams have dominated European Comps for the best part of two decades, we've 2 winners in 3 years and some how EPL teams are Kings of Europe.
Prior to that Spanish teams had won it 5 years in a row.

The other leagues should be blaming themselves for the way they distribute their revenue. No wonder La Liga was just a 2 horse race and the Bundesliga will always be a joke when Bayern just pick off the best players from the other teams. Worse than a monopoly that league, what is their 10th league title in a row. Same goes with Serie A and the usual suspect in Juve winning it.

It’s more that there are 3 teams from England that could legitimately claim to be in with a shout of winning it.

There isn’t another country in Europe that could claim the same - given that the 3 English teams don’t include the, albeit currently shite team, that’s got the biggest turnover in England.

Then you chuck in the money that’s flowing into English Teams that isn’t elsewhere.

… and I’m not English - but it probably should have been 3 out of 4 teams in the semi’s from England - that’s pretty dominant.

How is it little englander mentality if its true. The premier league is the strongest in the world easily and english clubs are dominating the champions league. Was it little spanish mentality when they used to brag about how their league is the best in the world and that if you want to win the Ballon D'or you need to play in La Liga?

It wasn't that long ago when Spain had 3 contenders. And Germany had 2 contenders (Klopp era).

It goes in cycles.

But when Spain had 3 contenders they were, rightly, considered dominant.

I don’t count Dortmund a contender in the way I don’t consider Spurs one.
