Liverpool v Leeds United
Manchester United v West Ham United
Hull City v Newcastle United
Arsenal v Southampton

Good draw.

Toughish draws for United & Arsenal. Rafa should get through without much bother ... Klopp vs. Rafa is getting closer and closer !

Any idea if we're on the Tues or Wednesday ? Ties to be played 29th and 30th.

Considering the two all prem ties, I'm guessing they'll be the ones televised and that they'll be played on seperate days. Only speculating.
Nothing is set, according to the offical EFL cup website.

Update:
Considering that we're playing on Saturday the 26th, our game will be most likely be three days later. That is on a Tuesday.

Boss draw that. Last time we played Leeds at home was in 2003 were a 17 year old Milner played for them.

Fuck me that seems long ago now.

I read somewhere that Leeds United are the most hated team among fans of other teams in England. Is that true and if yes, why is that?

I guess older fans hate them because they remember what thugs their supporters were. Elland Road was a hellish place to visit. And of course the players were almost as bad, and Revie was a crook.

They surely had some nasty players. Bremner worst of all. But it installed a culture that they could be a pain in the ass for everyone, and even after a few times up and Down they managed to get to the semis in CL.

Over here we have quite a large Group Leeds supporters. Bigger (at least more visible) than other "big Clubs" who has fallen behind.

Yeah it must be an older generation thing because people my age don't give them a second thought.

So you weren't around when David Batty played in midfield for them?

Heh, yeah I was, but I forgot he existed until now. I remember him more at Blackburn and Newcastle, though, then his later stint back at Leeds. I was probably too young to really appreciate how much of a dirty bastard he was.

I remember being a kid in 97 / 98, watching Leeds play Chelsea and seeing half the players on the pitch get yellow carded. They didn't come to play...

Actually, funny enough, Man City remind me a bit of that great Leeds team of the early 90s. Don't really know why.
Must be the managers :
