I think they are adopting a strategy of buying all strikers in world football. They'll then throw pairs of them into a barrel with knives taped to their boots, until only one is left.
Even if it's not, unless Citeh put crazy money on the table (70M up - which I would take for Torres so long as ALL of that goes back into the team) then we can and should tell Nando - "sorry but you have a 5 yr contract and you are going nowhere".
There's also reports that City reps are Milan to wrap up the 35m transfer of Balotelli.
Now he's a player that I've long since posted about on here over the course of about 18 months. I think he's a world superstar waiting to happen if he can overcome his questionable young mentality. He's got everything in his locker and is only 20 odd.
But for fucks sake, 35m? For a player who barely played last season and was sporadic at best the year before?
Man City are ruining the market, something should be done about it.
At least Inter might just have a bit more to throw our way for Masher?
After our much vaunted attempt at the above but with keepers a few years back.

That last sentence sounds great ! Some were willing to accept 25M for him but for me it should be 30M+ considering they are getting Argentina's captain and supposedly the best DM in the world.

Kirkland is the anti highlander.
There can be only... oh fuck, my back.
I genuinely wonder how many keepers we've had on the books since Grob was the chief custodian. It must be up towards 50.
Balotelli for £35m is great, we'll hopefully get most of that for Mascherano
City director of communications Vicky Kloss told The Times: "We can categorically state we have no interest in signing Didier Drogba and any suggestion of an approach is entirely without foundation."
The Chavs are trying to hi-jack Citeh's Balotelli move as Ancelotti feels he will be a better partner for Didier Drogba compared to Fernando Torres. Unlikely that Drogba is going anywhere. Citeh have also denied making an approach. Seems Torres stays.
Manchester City have moved to distance themselves from the speculation linking them with a possible swoop for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba this summer. Drogba's agent Thierno Seydi had stated that he had had "direct contact" with City and that there might be some surprising events before the end of the transfer window.
