My view maybe unconventional but I believe it would be better for Andy Carroll to return, be part of the squad, work to put himself back in the reckoning with the Manager.

He does have attributes which would strengthen our squad and provide impact. Looking back he would have been well suited to a role in the Stoke game for example, both as focal point in attack and in defence during free kicks, corners and throw ins.

I don't see either we, West Ham or Andy Carroll benefit at present.

As regards Ba: I'm impressed with him; he is a constant danger, is strong and fast and will get goals in any team. Sadly he seems to be pricing himself out of all but a few clubs.

Pretty sure I read that in one of the broadsheets? The permi deal was announced by the son of one of those WHU owners, around 3 weeks before the window closed on twatter, later confirmed by a few journos. The deal was agreed between the clubs but fell apart when the slight detail of player agreement was required! When the last minute deal was agreed a number of jurnos were taking the piss over the fact we got a lower loan fee, no guarantee of permi deal and fact we had one less striker at the club.
