I'm sure we can, but Chelsea are a far more attractive proposition for him right now, a move from Newcastle to us on paper would just be a side step, a move to Chelsea will be a potential challenge for honours on a few fronts.

People need to get real about players being linked to the big clubs who are in the hunt this season, the truth of the matter is that we're some way off looking like a real threat to anyone, so the attraction is nowhere near the level it is at Arsenal, United, City and Chelsea.

That will obviously obviously obviously be reneged upon, there is no way they'll buy him for 18mill, I don't care what they say. The only way that was going to happen is if he'd have scored over 40goals this season and we'd has a 65mill bid from PSG for him. Then they'd have had him for 18.

I think it was AC who turned the permi deal down, he wouldn't go out on loan if the deal was to automatically turn into a permi deal at the end of the season.
