Yeah he was scrap. As he was for Liverpool, is for Ireland....etc...

How he didn't score that sitter I'll never know.
That was a fantastic save! ... 😉

True, he was average, yet however was much better than Torres today as Keane actually threatened the goalie and defence.

Your hate for Keane is becoming a little tiresome at times.

He was pretty crap again but he seems to be a lucky mascot for when he played for us, then spurs, as shown by our results when we sold him last season. And he narrowly missed out on a medal which is more than we can say last season. I would've kept him until the end of the season or at least until we had an adequate replacement lined up.

Haha.

Oh, I'm so glad we got rid of him.
Yeah me too. After all, we used the cash to buy.....oh wait! No, no, weve got Voronin for back up havnt we.

If we went and bought a striker with the Keane cash i'd understand the guffawing, fact is we bought no one, and i bet ANYONE who cares to take it a Tenner that Keane gets more premiership goals this season than Voronin, Babel and N'gog
All three put together ?
Go on then. For you bigman i'll go the treble. But i want a tenner back for each of them.

Oncy, Keane was crap for us and you know this. If we managed to salvage the majority of the money back, which still *could* be put towards a quality attacking player this summer. Then it's happy days all round.

And I think there is an attacking player to come.
If there is then fine, but at the minute its akin to us sitting in a fucking skoda pretending were in a ferrari and lauging at our neighbours Impreza.
Keane is waaaaay better than our current options and we essentially gave him away. Greeeeat.

His record was identical to Voronin's for us Oncy.

He's better than Babel and N'gog right now, but it's worth pointing out Keane isn't the player he was 2 years ago.

He's really fucking shit these days and I expect Crouch and Defoe to start for Spurs for most of the season.

He missed one sitter. The other two wernt sitters.

As Oncy said, we dont have anyone in our squad as good as Keane. Not Babel not Voronin not N'Gog

I hope you are wrong on the last point. Partly because I think you may be correct that he's not as good anymore - and I hate Spurs and don't want them having good players - but mostly because my understanding was that the money they paid us to get him back rises with appearances.

Based in Robbie Keane's performances for us, there isn't much difference between him and Voronin.

Keane will obviously score more goals than Voronin, Babel, N'gog as 1. He'll play far more games and 2. He's 10x the player they are.
Based on my eyes, there is.

Keane may not have shone for us, and he was mystifying transfer from day one, but it's not a fair comparison;

When have we ever chucked Voronin up front on his own? Or on the wing?

Keane's clearly the better player.

I'd forgotten how ineffectual Voronin was prior to yesterday. He's got nothing.
Hes got awful hair to be fair.

I don't get it when I see people like him. I mean, does he actually do his hair every morning, look in the mirror and think 'yeah, that looks good'. I mean, really?

Drogba seems to like it.
Drogba, Voronin and Adabayor could a shit-hair-off.
