So, after the Wigan, Spurs and Swansea games this month, we have:

Southampton (H)
West Ham (A)
Villa (H)
Fulham (H)
Stoke (A)
QPR (A)

If there's ever a chance to pick up some points, and some momentum heading into the transfer window, December should be it. What confidence does anyone have that we'll pick up 12-15 points from that lot?

we're proving hard to beat, but as ever its the goals that count. I expect Suarez to miss at least one of those games as he is on 4 yellow cards. God forbid he gets injured.

They're also all due a change in form, or at least a more determined plan not to get tonked, so it's not the best time to play them. West Ham's a shit place to go at the best of times.

Where's that happy, positive hal I remember? BRING HIM BACK.

Confusing me with somebody else? I haven't been positive for about 4 years!

On the positive side, I was really impressed with us today. Not particularly our play, but our grit and determination. Great result.

We always fall to pieces there don't we, well, anywhere in London pretty much.

I fancy us for the home games, though I think Fulham might be tough if they continue current form, the away games are all typical fuck ups as you say,.

As John Cleese once said, it's not the despair that hurts, it's the hope. Most of those matches could end up with really good results. It's just ambiguous.

Yeah, I feel that way about all of these type of threads (no offense meant to Mish), on paper we can all say we should win, but we know from experience and given our current goalscoring struggles, that they could all go either way.

People forecast scores on what we once were, not were we are now.

I don't see how anyone can call any of our games. We have loads of possession but yet look vulnerable all at the same time.

I remember positive hal.

Me and thee on a midnight argument against a rashid/rage/some other boring repetitive twat, about how we're actually good

Memories...

Must be going back a while. I am more optimistic for the future now, though, admittedly.

Bump.

6 of a possible 6 so far. If we can get 9 from the next 4 games, I suspect we'll be in the top 6 going into January.
