Dear Rafa fans

As I said in another thread, Chelski are like the Dutch national team. They are capable of making any manager look hopeless if they're so minded. Avram Grant will just let them do as they please so he'll probably take over before the end of the season so the blank-faced one can ponder his next act of mad extravagance.

Tell me, what are the real reasons that Chelsea are rubbish under him?

Is it Romans fault?

I know you hate him and you are a dear old member of this forum so no abuse shall be given to you by me - I will admit though that after I heard about the West Ham result today - the first thing I thought was that 'Rosco - is going to love this'.

I will say this though - I think the reasons you have given in the past are misplaced and none of us will ever understand the difficulty under which Rafa had to operate in his last few seasons at the club. As for the recent results for Chelsea - like so many others have said on here it's only been 3 games, and his methods that he wants to get into the players will be a lot different from what Roberto, and others have been trying to do since Jose was there. Also if there is one thing the Chelsea players have probably learned from AVB last season is that they as a group can start to do conspire against the manager - which maybe going through their heads, as they probably also know that they will have the support of the supporters. This is the problem with Chelsea - having this one high profile owner - it's more like a small business which can be severely disrupted by very bad staff, while our club - because of it's history and large fan base it's more like a big corporate institution. My own view is that Rafa was hired to get something out of the £50M f*ck up they signed - no matter how rich Abramovich is - it's gotta hurt to spend that money and end up with a completely useless product. What Chelsea do have now is that with their recent European Cup success they have become part of that exclusive club - which means that perhaps even without CL footy for a season - good players will still want to join them. I think Rafa's main priority is to get into place some discipline, and revive Torres by playing him as the owner wants. This is what it's all about - because last season Abramovich achieved his main objective since taking over Chelsea which was to win the CL, so I think Rafa winning the league or anything else is going to have less meaning this season. It's all about having a certain group of players - playing in the Spanish way and getting ready to bring in Pep next season.

He's been there about a fortnight and they had lost four out of five before he came. Set the world alight? Fuck me! 3 games. 3 fucking games!

They've played Fulham and West Ham in 2 of those games, which has resulted in 1 point.
Usually when a team gets a new manager it has a positive impact in the first few games, that doesnt seem to be the case.

I know its been 3 games mate, but its been 3 horrendously shite games. Iow he hasnt made an impact at all yet.
Will be interesting to see if they can turn it around. Rafas popularity hasnt increased with the Chelsea fans..

Does it not bother you writing all that when you know people are really not going to be arsed reading it ?

Ross and Themn during the Chelsea - West Ham game:

Yeah, I don't get this at all.

Rafa's doing some outstanding work at Chelsea - just think what he could do if he's allowed to keep going till the end of the season.

Keep going Rafa - love your work.

Those remind me of that scene in the re-make of 'Dawn Of The Dead' where the Ving Rhames character knows his mate across the way has turned into one of the mindless un-dead.

It looks like Rolf Harris has lent them his extra thick paint brush whilst he's been off caring for police dogs. (I bet that last bloke is now sulking at home after his missus has pointed out he's missed the t in 'desperate'.)

This fan cut himself to write the banner in his own blood, if you look carefully you will see that it's meant to say: Rafa must go!

Next week he will create one using his own shit as he doesn't have enough blood left.

That could be a Chelski version of the Rorschach Test. I'm all for it - a new fan supplies an artery each match.

Abramovic has told every Chelsea fan that he doesn't care about any of them. He shouts a massive 'fuck off' and their response is 'yes, yes... how should we fuck off oh lord?' - and then turn on the man he installs without saying a bad word against their oligarch dictator.

It's all very funny.

Sorry, I just don't understand how a world class CL winning manager with an expensively assembled squad can get humped by a recently promoted West Ham with Big Sam in charge.

Makes no sense.

Scolari won the World Cup and he had some poor results at Chelski. The players didn't approve so they effectively binned him. You can criticise Benitez without using the cesspool that is Chelski as a justification. Loads of good managers will fail there if Terry and Co disapprove.

But they're running out of managers aren't they?

Say Pep doesn't want to join and Rafa makes a dog's breakfast of it... Who the fuck is left?

The only CL winner of the last ten years they haven't already had is Rijkaard. I think... But you get the point... There's no one left.

Does anyone think they'll give me a job!?!? I'll do whatever Roman, Terry wants ... And I'll only take 500,000 pounds a year with a payoff of 2 million pounds if they need to fire me. That's fair, no?
