FFP rules are pretty much now in force so nobody is going to spending big, considering about three clubs in the Premiership are able to actually comply with the guidelines at the moment. Lots of clubs will be looking to shift players but nobody wants to shell out for them.

Wasn't the FFP in place last year too?

TBF I agree. We probably won't see any big deals. I suspect it'll be the lowest spending in a Jan window since Sky made a song and dance out of it.

Talk of Spurs trying to get Adebayor on a perm deal for 8M. That'd be a great price.

Parker would have been fantastic, but none of us could have seen Lucas' injury coming, although £5m on Parker would have been better than Adam, I think.

If they get Adebayor at that price it'll be a joke, he's worth twice that at least and City could easily get that in the summer.
