BBC Sport's Ben Smith: "Tottenham have entered the race to sign MK Dons' highly-rated midfielder Dele Alli. Newcastle had been in pole position to sign the 18-year-old but Spurs are now quietly confident of signing the youngster before Monday's 11pm deadline."

Haven't we been linked with him a lot?

Mirallas to Tottenham?

"Everton's Kevin Mirallas has been linked with a deadline day move to Spurs after recent events at Goodison Park, so it would not be a surprise if there was a late attempt to take him to White Hart Lane on transfer deadline day.
"The mood at Everton, however, is that they and manager Roberto Martinez are in no mood to sell a player who is vital to their side, despite recent events placing him in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
"The talented Belgian revealed he would wait until the end of the season to decide on a new contract - his current one ends in 18 months - and was also involved in the contentious incident when he took penalties duties off Leighton Baines against West Brom and missed the subsequent spot-kick.
"It would be no surprise to see him leave Everton in the summer - but it is hard to see Spurs offering any sore of deal today that would even make Roberto Martinez blink."

Hopefully this happens, the dirty bastard.

We should be all over this and try mould him into that Gerrard mould

It's now being reported that Danny Ings signed pre-contract terms with Real Sociadad LAST WEEK. So it gets odder still.

Sounds strange if Ings has already signed a pre contract.
What a odd story if thats true.

Ojo to Wigan sounds like a good move.

Cant see Lambert moving.

Liverpool looking to agree a deal with Burnley for Danny Ings that would avoid the need for a tribunal when his contract ends in June.

EDIT: Barrett has also stated that any move for Ings would be for the summer window and not this one.

Hope this comes off with an eye on Saturday.
Hope this doesn't come off with an eye on Tuesday.

Vinny O'Connor, the bluenose banished by Beelzebub to eternal reporting duties outside Anfield, has just declared that Ryan McLaughlin could go on loan to Coventry or Rotherham on loan,

Will Purslow be rearing his slimey, smarmy, arrogant head on Sky Sports News again this year, pretending he has vast experience of deadline day and giving banal, vague descriptions?

Vinny O'Connor, the bluenose banished by Beelzebub to eternal reporting duties outside Anfield,

You get a like for this bit!

The loan is good news too, I'd like to see most of our promising young players on loan before playing pointless 'reserve' games.

If that's true I'd be annoyed we missed out, but pleased with the lad's decision abilities, I think more young English players should try footy abroad & broaden their playing scope whilst learning to live without that eternal safety net of family & friends, that can so easily turn into a social trap.

Sky sources say djuricic (?) is nearly join saints on loan

Is he another @cloggypop recommendation? I remember him tearing shit up in the Dutch league

Good; he needs to get out there and play more. Good to see Jones extend at Cheltenham as well; he seems to be loving the physical game, based on a recent interview. Any news on whether Dunn will extend as well? I'd like to think he should be able to move up a level or two on his next loan.

Nah, don't see it

We aren't even being linked with any random yoots to pretend to get excited about

From the highlights I saw a season or two ago, he was a silky creative AM at Heerenveen, but didn't get much playing time when he moved to Benfica. Was loaned to Mainz this season and hasn't really played much as well I think. Koeman's really doing all his shopping from the Dutch league (or ex-Dutch league players), isn't he? Resurrecting Eljero Elia, now Djuricic.

At this rate, maybe he'll take another ex-Heerenveen player, Finnbogason from Real Sociedad, in the summer.
