He should be in line to face Tyson Fury for the British title, after he destroyed his opponent in the first round tonight. Hopefully the fight will be in Liverpool.
I was in ringside seats last night, although McDermott does not have a bad record and was unlucky against Fury, he looks about my fucking build he weighed in at nineteen and a half stone and is about a foot smaller that Price who was two stone lighter.
It's a good thing there were some very decent other fights on or I might have felt a bit miffed that the main bout cost me a pound a second 😉
The next two/three fights are going to tell us if Price is going on to be world class or not, there is no doubting he has most of what it takes, he has the physique, is fast and has a club of a right hand, we need to see what his chin and stamina is like. I think he is going to be.
On another matter this chap was next to us in the bar Terry Hollands he is massive
I was speaking to Adam Smith and Glen McCrory in the Hilton after the fight and was asking them what they thought of Price against Fury. Adam Smith reckons Price has a big future and that he will beat fury fairly convincingly. McCrory was more on the fence but thinks that if Price keeps his head and boxes he should have too much for Fury...
I hope Price batters fury as I dislike Fury, don't know why just do.
