It's evens at Skybet now, some Twitter rumours about it apparently. Probably bullshit but he could be pissed off for losing Pienaar and not being able to replace him. Or something.

There is always some rumour of him leaving and it never happens.

I can't imagine him leaving Everton as there is nowhere for him to go but down at the moment.

This is going back a while, but at one stage there were rumours of him going to ManUre, initially as no.2 but on (a) his current salary and (b) a promise to take over from Ginsoak. Any chance of that, do you suppose?

I doubt he'd go for it like that. Like a weird sith apprentice. He will not leave Everton unless whiskeycunt drops dead. He likes being the under dog with Everton.

He's losing the plot.

Wenger blasts Moyes for tunnel talk

Arsene Wenger was frustrated with the decision to allow Everton's goal to stand
Arsene Wenger has hit out at his Everton counterpart David Moyes for taking issue with events in the tunnel during half time of Arsenal's 2-1 win on Tuesday.

Moyes was incensed by what he claims to have heard Cesc Fabregas say, suggesting the comments were "disgusting". Arsenal were still smarting at referee Lee Mason's decision to allow Louis Saha's goal to stand when players and officials went down the tunnel.

An unnamed Everton player has reportedly told The Lying Rag that Fabregas said 'how much did you pay the ref' and 'Everton are a bunch of cheats'.

Fabregas has not been punished by The FA, as referee Lee Mason made no reference to it in his match report, and the Arsenal captain claimed that it was "heat of the moment" stuff.

Wenger claims to have heard "amazing things" in the tunnel during his time in management and has hit out at Moyes for going against an unwritten rule of never speaking of such incidents.

"For me this is over and I believe it is wrong for Moyes to come out and say what he claims to have heard in the tunnel," Wenger said. "If I come out with what I have heard in the tunnel over the last 10 years you would be amazed.

"I think there is a rule in our job to never come out with what is said in the heat of the moment. That usually is respected by everybody.

"I have heard amazing things in the tunnel. It has never come out and you have to understand that if you play with your friends on the pitch you say things to your friend that in 24 hours you would not be very proud of, but it is in the heat of the moment."

Wenger is a hypocrite of the highest order. That said, I read an article some years ago which said Moyes was the most unpopular manager among other Prem managers, so maybe there's some kind of background to this that we don't know about.

I'm surprised that one of the agents of The Dark Lord would be *allowed* to be "most unpopular".

It surprised me for a number of reasons, that being one of them. I can only imagine the private views of some members of the LMA are rather different from those they'd dare to air in front of Pork Pie Features.

Heard off my mate who has friends within the club, Kenwright tried to sell Phil Neville on Monday behind Moyes back. Moyes got wind of it and threatened to quit if he sold Neville. Kenwright seen his arse and stopped the sale going through. Everton are that skint at the moment, they were desperate for even 500k from this sale. They are in the shit money wise, talk of them maybe going into admin if they don’t raise a figure in the summer, rumoured to be 8 million. Also, they are not supposed to have paid the players for last two months!

All my mates are boycotting the Chelsea away game next week as they are so fucked off with things.

A warning there to anyone who still reckons sharing a stadium with those dossers might be a good idea.

Yup. Is their Tesco stadium deal still on or has it been shelved?

I am not from Liverpool and have never been there so apologize if this is a stupid question. Why are they looking to build a new stadium. Do they have fanbase big enough to fill it? Will it lead to increased revenues for them?

Goodison is literally falling down, and will fail Premier league standards in a year or 2

I'm no expert on that club and wouldn't want to be, but my guess is the idea's also a calculated risk to try and move forward, given that nothing much else they've done or seem likely to do has much chance of working. Of course the risk is considerably lessened if we're involved, which would also mean council money, and they can then take a free ride on our and the council's backs.

Everton always seem to have been skint! Why? Its not like they spend a lot really, none of their players are so good that you'd expect them to be on stupidly high wages and they clearly don't spend a lot on the ground.

Yet, every couple of years there is talk about how dire they are financially.

They're just not bringing enough in to cover even those limited outgoings and still have enough (a) to splash the cash in the market and (b) to get decent credit. Hence their margin for error is zilch, so whenever they have a run of mediocre form and/or make a duff signing or two they're up against it, at least for a while.

They don't get the Crowds either, so loose a lot on gate income, and of course the worse they are doing the crowd falls more.

Always remember the arguement I had with a bluenose a few years back.

Basically I gave up my season ticket in the early 90's as my parents wouldn't pay for it anymore, and I couldn't - I was acccused of being a fair weather fan and 'I would never give up our season tickets' blah blah fucking die for the club bollocks blah blah.

Turns out she has the season ticket paid for her by mummy and daddy, and has done for 20 years - fair weather fan my arse.

From what the Judge and Asbo say, if we enter into a ground share with them, they might not have enough finances to cover even half of the construction and maintenance costs.

Just performed an online credit check on Everton through my work, and its fucking dreadful.

Credit score 2/100 (100 being the best)

As a comparison, I also did one on Arsenal:

Credit score 98/100

I never believed they would have, mate, which is why I've never bought the idea that it "makes economic sense" for us to groundshare. They'd be quids in, but we'd basically have to carry them indefinitely, and there is no way on this planet I'd be willing for us to do that.
