Nice one. There's even more that could have gone on there too, especially from his partnership with Rushy. And the King was also tough as nails - a fair few of those goals were scored after he'd rolled a defender or a couple of defenders had tried and failed to knock him off the ball.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the backing track?

Gives me tingles up the spine watching that.

JJ, sounds like Bon Jovi, not sure what like.

I just watched it again ... and people who watched Kenny for us are lucky ... This clips probably don't do him the justice he deserves ... It's like what my boy will probably tell me about Robbie one day.

Wizzy, doc, thanks for the info.

No clip of goals alone would do full justice to the King's all-round play. As long as he played up front (NOT in midfield, where he tended to fade into ordinariness) he was - as another song goes - simply the best.

There's a goal he scored for Scotland against Belgium I think that stands up to being in that montage.

The skill on display and goals on here are outrageous

Watching this is my only experience of extracting joy from watching a guy in green hoops score. Such is the glory of Kenny.

Something about his face when he was younger reminds me of Kuyt...

I reckon it's just the sheer honest joy Kenny took, and Deadly takes now, in playing and in the team doing well.

Wow! You must really love Kenny.

I love when celebrations weren't primarily about looking cool. You can tell when it really matters now players still genuinely lose it, and that's the best.

Gerrard's whole face would crack if he smiled like Kenny once.

True dat.

It's the primary reason for my hatred of that fucker Thierry Henry.
