I'm curious if anyone on here has ever tried Crown Royal, a famous brand of Canadian whiskey that is one of our more famous alcoholic exports. A gold medal winner in several spirits competitions, Crown Royal is usually served mixed with a non-alcoholic beverage (ie. Crown and Coke, Crown and diet, Crown and ginger, etc.). It's quite a pleasant tasting Canadian whiskey (rye-dominated) with a nice presentation in a crown-shaped bottle, frequently dressed in a royal purple bag (especially on export). The sole place of production is Gimli, Manitoba, an Icelandic-Manitoban community about an hour north of home for me.
I had planned on bringing a few small bottles on my recent trip for those who met up/hooked me up, such as Oncey, ILD, Sunny, etc. but I ran out of room in my luggage. Apologies lads, thanks for everything and I will bring some over next time, I assure you.
If you have not tried this delightful alcoholic beverage and have access to it, I recommend you do so and post in this thread promptly. Thank you and good night.
