Had an enhanced CRB check done over the last few weeks paid out of my own pocket.. got the results through today...
Now a caution i got in 2002 for lamping a young scally, who ran off with my ex wife... has come up on the CRB
-ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM; OFFENCES AGAINST THE PERSON ACT 1861
Now at the time I was going through all the emotional turmoil you would expect from separating from a nutter of my ex-wife.. and this bugger was the chap she had an affair with and ran off with.. Meanwhile I was left to raise our two kids and to this day still do... So the caution if you like was totally out of character for me... (wish I never took it but.. it just seemed the least of my worries at the time...)
Now I am generally looking to get jobs.. in the IT support/ Network managment dept.. within schools, hospitals, etc. How is this going to effect me getting a job in these areas... As they generally do an enhanced CRB check...
