I'd rather yossi not play at all, he's been dreadful for a fair while now. Babel up top, aqua or lucas behind, gerrard centre with masch. tell Riera to grow up and play maxi on the right with him

So you'd rather play Babel, Aqua or Lucas who have all been brilliant this season ahead of Yossi who's been dreadful for a fair whiie now (part of which he was injured). Oh, and Riera too.
Interesting logic indeed.

Yossi is uninterested and poor on the left, so i guess it would make more sense to see babel on the left rather than riera who was a mixed bag this season; therefore n'gog really is our only option up top (besides kuyt who i'm not convinced by this season). Aqua has had some of his best games for us behind the striker, gerrard some of his in central mid. And i would also like to see Lucas ONE day play in the position which he thrived in in brazil, and be allowed to attack more. My problem with yossi is that he does not know when to pass. Or shoot. He knows how to get into the box and as soon as he crosses that line this season, he does not know what to do with it, normally squandering possession.
and regarding the bit in bold, i'll presume this was sarcasm? Aqua and babel have looked very improved in recent weeks, whereas benny definitely hasn't. He may have been injured this season but since his return he has been awful. Lucas has been consistently "meh" this season apart from a couple of instances in the europa where he's been allowed to burst forward. Whether the european football suits him, or because we were chasing the games he was allowed to go forward remains to be seen.

Well, yes, the bit in bold was sarcasm. No offence meant though, but still, I find it hard to believe that you consider Babel, Aquilani and Lucas as more creative and as better ptions than Benayoun.
I thought Babel got more than enough chances to prove himself, and alomost consistently let us down. Do you really think that Babel knows better than Yossi when to pass? I'm afraid you'd struggle to find a player who's decisions are worse than Babel's.
Aquilany is a puzzle. Apart from ~1.5 games in which he looked positive he seemed far less thretening than Benayoun, and in fact in the last couple of games I watched him (coming on as a sub) he seemed to be easilly pushed off the ball by the opposition.
Lucas, well he's been around for 3 seasons now I believe, and I'm yet to see any hint of his ability in Brazil.
Had this trio of Lucas, Babel and Aquilani played anywhere near the ability Rafa saw in them when he signed them, our season mught have looked different than it did.
Regarding Yossi being awful since his return - just take a look at Yossi's playing minutes in 2010 (3 starts + a few sub appearances). Had he been free of injury and played more our season might have looked different.
