Barca thrash Madrid
4-0, Suarez (x2), Neymar & Iniesta

Bravo with some fantastic saves - two from ronaldo, one from benzema.

Madrid fans clapped off Iniesta - classy move on their part. That's the only positive thing I can think of relating to Madrid tonight after watching the game.

Madrid looked like a team that has given up ... I don't think Rafa lasts the season.

Barca have been playing really solid, good footy for 2 months without Messi. Suarez and Neymar have been fantastic. Now he's back ...

Yeah the presaure shouldn't be on rafa, given its only 6 points but it inevitably will be...

Real should have scored 2/3 themselves but for some class saves.

Suarez and Neymar were a millions miles away from bale and ronaldo tonight. Also the iniesta goal needs linking in here. Great goal.

Yeah, those Suarez goals against City, Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton. None against the big teams.........

3rd best player in the World. Easy.

Do I need to spell this out for you again

There's no statistical evidence that managers in the Premiership make any difference.
You are sticking to the theory more than the blokes who invented it in Soccermaniacs.

Would you be happy with Paulo do Canio in charge?
Don't get me wrong, stats have their place, and can be invaluable, but they don't always paint a true picture.

I really don't think anyone in that league has a chance - and world football should ban Barca, and Real from doing what they have been doing for too long now. We have one nation in the world with all the best players - Barca for fucks sake have the South America's best gems leading their attacking line - who the fuck is going to stand a chance against that. They may as well just hand over the fucking CL to them now.

That was true in the Premiership.

And a game against a Real team bored to death by Rafa is hardly a big game.

I think it's a simple case of a gang of players being too big for their boots. If the player's conform to his ideas, Real would probably have done a lot better in the game.

Well if managers dont make a difference I hope the LMA proposes this;
In the future they can just put 20 names in a hat and they can draw which club they'll be in charge of for the coming season.

I can't believe Benitez is Madrid manager.
It's fucking mental.
Napoli have improved ten fold since the spoofer left.
Is Rafa unlucky or really fucking shit.
Can't decide.

Madrid are making boatloads of money, but are getting no success on the pitch in recent years. Not sure who they can currently bring in to resolve that if Rafa gets the boot. They want Mourinho back but he's not going anywhere mid-season.

Press conference tonight called by Florentino. Vote of confidence or the sack for Rafa?

Is Barca the easiest club to manage? I mean could someone like Moyes go in, and they'll still be top, because their attack is the best there ever has been?

It's certainly not the hardest club in the world to manage, and any good manager would have a good chance of winning the title, but the two Madrid clubs have won it several times in tyne last few years, so I don't think a manager as mediocre as Moyes would be guaranteed anything, even at Barca.

But yeah, you don't need to be Mourinho or Pep to succeed at Barca.
