And what exactly gives you confidence that we would have beaten Porto had we gone through?
Porto play CL football every year and they normally do pretty well.
Unless we have Sturridge back and hopefully bring in a decent striker (or two) in January, we will still struggle to win games.
 
Porto are a good side. Arsenal get a decent draw to say the least. Arsene going back to Monaco aswell.
 
Porto are indeed a good side, but we'd be better IF we were playing even close to our potential. That's what makes this such a pity.
 
I think City will do Barca, they are due. Also think PSG will batter Chelsea. No particular reason just a hopeful first impression

Yeah, I think City will put Barca out as well - if Aguero is playing.


Don't think PSG will put the Chavs out unless Jose has some injury concerns. They look a really balanced side this season. I don't think they've quite got the fire power to get over Bayern or Madrid but think they can handle everyone else.
