From the Beeb:

[Yossi Benayoun] tweeted after the game that "sometimes people are crossing the limit", before adding: "I'm sure the club will sort it."
The Israeli's concern has prompted Chelsea to investigate any abuse. After returning to Chelsea from a loan spell at West Ham this season, Benayoun is believed to have been targeted by a section of Chelsea's fans.
Possible motives for the abuse include kissing the Arsenal badge while on loan, and a perception that he's denying Frank Lampard and younger members of Chelsea's squad a place in the team.
Benayoun also tweeted that he had been booed since defending Fernando Torres in an interview following Chelsea's game against Sparta Prague .
Chelsea have a zero-tolerance policy on racist and discriminatory behaviour at Stamford Bridge and have, in the past, banned supporters who have breached it.
There is no evidence of racism at this stage, but Chelsea are examining previous games to establish the nature of the abuse.

Supposedly Chelsea are investigating anti-semitic chants, but I've not read anywhere what was supposedly chanted. Oh well ... I guess kissing the Arsenal badge last year was a mistake! 😉

I can well believe he's been the target of anti-Semitism from that lot. Some Chelsea fans have been known to chant such stuff during games against Spurs before now.

Poor old Yossi must feel fed up, having bounced around the London clubs since leaving us and then, after dissing Rafa big time, finds Rafa back as his boss. Oh well, he's got a right to be angry if this kind of crap's gone on, but it's a shame as well his career is whimpering out like this.

He thanked the Liverpool fans for applauding him at Anfield on Twitter.

Ah okay. I was rather confused because first there was polite applause, then boos rang out, and then polite applause when he got onto the pitch. Didn't know who was doing what.
