I saw this on the news earlier in better quality. Imo I don't think any fans purposefully hurt the steward it was a bit of a crush resulting from angry fans so the united players celebrating was a big part of the problem, as well as the ref for giving the goal.
There was one dildo from a row or two back in particular who seemed to push forward angrily and one fan right beside the steward who was trying his best to brace himself and sorta shield the steward from what I recall.
So there it is, physical harm coming to someone who is not a player as a result of a shit decision by a referee.

it's actually most bizarre , why isn't the steward trying to get himself upright ? It's like he's already been knocked out before being dumped over .
Does this mean that fans are within their legal rights to attack stewards if the referee makes a bad decision?

Most people in that shot seem to be laughing at something. even the ones who are nowhere near the guy.
revolting. i would like to think that if i was at a match and a fan next to me made such gestures I would tell him it was unacceptable. easier said than done I imagine. but that is was principles and the love of your club is about.

Perhaps he has a genuine mental disability. Or perhaps he faked that disability in order to get a front row seat, and then realised he had to keep up the act for the rest of the game. Reminds me of this.
