I have come round to the idea of wanting City to go through as they are much less likely to win a final than Real are, in my view.Hope City beat these cunts. There are few Euro teams I dislike more. Well none I can think of.
The stats at HT are all level but City look far more dangerous and more of the play is in Real's third.
Modric is a superb footballer. Brilliant.
Caraval with a despicable rugby tackle right at the death. He got a Yellow but IMO those types of tackles - that stop a very dangerous attack in a very dangerous area - should be Red, what does it matter if he was last man or not or the tackle was dangerous or not, those tackles spoil the game as a spectacle and reduce the number of goals in a match.
- Casemiro has really solidified Madrid's team - a proper DM ... Amazed Rafa didn't give him time as he seems like a typical Rafa player - hard working, good tackler and good passer.
Wasn't there something about him not being allowed to play him. Possibly posted on here... (cant check at minute).
Something similar to this

Sorry but that is just bollocks. These rugby tackles and cynical tackles that stop promising attacks detract from the match as a spectacle, I just can't understand anyone thinking they are 'part of the game', they simply shouldn't be. If we had sin-bins it would be an easy decision for refs but failing that players would soon learn that a cynical tackle preventing a breakaway earns a Red and it would stop.Yah, just fantastic.
I thought it was a very smart foul though - as a spectator, I think it's a part of the game (i.e. Can should have clobbered Reus before he set up Aubamyeang for his goal against us at Anfield) and as long as they get a card, I have no qualms really.

That's not a dangerous situation but what you're advocating is allowing (serious) foul play to be rewarded. I know that is the current situation (see also : shirt pulling and grappling at corners etc.) but it should be addressed as both are getting out of control and shouldn't be part of the modern game. Abuse of referees is another issue that is becoming intolerable !Where does that stop? What about Tottenham's constant fouling in the upper 1/3 when they lose the ball to ensure their team is set up constantly? etc ... Fouling is part of the game ... if you want a sin bin/penalty box, ok ... but otherwise, it's part and parcel of the game.
Thoughts tonight:
- Fucking hell, I never realized how fast De Bruyne is ... What a player he is.
- Casemiro has really solidified Madrid's team - a proper DM ... Amazed Rafa didn't give him time as he seems like a typical Rafa player - hard working, good tackler and good passer.
- Kovacic barely plays for Madrid - what a stupid move for him.
- Joe Hart with two really solid saves off corners (casemiro, and then pepe).
- Amazing how much better City look defensively when Kompany is back there.
- Still incredible to see how strong Sterling is - on the sideline, he just pushed Ramos away as if he was a 14 year old school girl.
- Madrid are the better team, but I can see city winning at Madrid.
Better City than Madrid.
A . Madrid >City>Bayern>R.Madrid
Indeed. The momentum of the game yesterday swung on his presence, or absence.Silva will miss the game in Madrid with injury though. They looked lost without him.
Anybody but City for me.
