4 - @FCBayernEN have not lost any of the last 4 duels against @juventusfcen and won the last 3. Favorite. #UCLdraw

1 - Arsenal have won only one of their seven Champions League games against Barcelona. Predictable.

16 - Manchester City were eliminated from the Europa League last 16 round in 2010/11 by Dynamo Kiev. Revenge.

1 - Roma have progressed to the QF the only time they have faced Real Madrid in the Last-16 stages in #UCL (2007/08). Destiny. #UCLdraw

It'd be nice for the Premier Leagues coefficient status if Juventus and Roma get a good kicking there because Chelsea and Arsenal have it tough.

City will probably be the only English team going through.
Just knew Chelsea - PSG and Arse-Barca would happen.

Spurs vs. Fiorentina and Midtjylland vs United are also good for our Co-efficient ranking (I hope).

In that regard both Roma and Juve are unlikely to progress as well and although Chelsea and Arsenal will probably go out, City should progress and a good draw va. Wolfsberg or Gent or maybe Benfica or Zenit could see them in the semis and more co-efficient points with both Italians hopefully out.

Ive watched a couple of their games on BT Sport. They are a very attacking team. Usually lots of goals involved in their matches.

Because you know a lot about Augsburg or because you've hardly heard of them ?
Stop being such a contrarian / argumentative twat. Obviously because Klopp knows them and they are one of the weaker German teams (currently13th of 18th teams in the BL).

Two crackers in Villareal vs. Napoli and Dortmund vs. Porto. So much for the EL being a weak tournament. Bloated certainly, weak - not so much.

Uefa says the first legs of the Europa League round of 32 will be played "in principle" on 18 or 25 February at 18:00 or 20:05 GMT but it will confirm the exact dates after the draw.
The second legs are scheduled for 10 and 17 March.

Erm....none of those teams are exactly European superpowers. Only one has ever won a European cup and two have never even reached the final of it. Ever.

They are all strong teams .. Villareal beat Real Madrid yesterday for example (perfect timing - thanks Villareal) !

Dortmund and FC Porto have won the European Cup. Napoli have also won the Uefa Cup. Villareal have reached the semi finals of the Champions League when Arsenal beat them. Maybe not Superpowers but hardly minnows.

Strange that he didnt pick up on the fact that Klopp have fazed them about 8 times or something in his managerial career and as a result of that knows them pretty well.
Agenda much eh...

I totally forgot Dortmund won it. I was probably too excited at the prospect of Karl-Heinz Reidle joining us afterwards.

[article]Manchester United and Liverpool will have to play key Premier League fixtures just days after the second legs of their respective Europa League knockout ties.

United were drawn against Denmark's FC Midtjylland, while Liverpool will face German outfit Augsburg in the round of 16 stage of the Europa League.

The first legs of those ties are scheduled for Thursday, February 18, with the second legs on Thursday, February 25.

However, Manchester United are due to face Arsenal in the Premier League the following weekend, while Liverpool host the Merseyside derby with Everton.

Both fixtures are likely to be pushed back to Sunday, February 28, but nonetheless, the crunch Thursday night ties are hardly ideal preparation for either club.

Tottenham, meanwhile, host current Premier League strugglers Swansea at White Hart Lane after the second leg of their Europa League tie with Fiorentina.

All three teams will potentially be playing in the fifth round of the FA Cup on the weekend following the first leg of their Europa League ties.

Here is how the fixture list currently looks…
