If ever there was any doubt how much we needed his organisation skill and presence, fuck me those doubts must be gone now.

A few on here were asking for him to be left out last season and some of this.

We need him back desperately, the art of solid defending seems have disappeared without him

I also miss his shouting
 
It's easy to overestimate the absence of players, especially when things are not going well (and let's not foregt that Carra has had a pretty up and down 18 months himself), but I have to agree. We're shambolic at the back from an organisational point of view, and one would hope that Clarke, as an ex-defender, is working on it.

And the fact that they're getting no protection from the Midfield Mongs in front of them isn't helping either.
 
That bit last night where Agger played everybody on and we should have gone 3-1 down - the cameras went straight to Carra and he was going nuts.

We are shite at the back, but that is mostly because our back four gets no protection whatsoever.

Teams just glides past our midfield, and when you're a defender that is fucking shite to defend against.

Neither Skrtel or Agger are good organizers though, so yes we really miss Carra. And Hyyppia for that matter.
 
Skrtel is such a load of shit... I'd defo start the Greek.
