both have the otential to be great pundits, well, neville already is, havnt seen much of carra punditry really. sky probably shouldnt put all their good eggs in one monday night basket though
Carra's going to have a lot of critics from the start. Very hard for non-scousers to understand the accent in the first place, but he talks at least twice as fast as Thommo to start with. He'll need some coaching.
Well then he'll be twice as informative. Great value for the viewers.
His pitch is probably an octave higher than Thommo too.If I was offered twice as much Thommo the last thing I'd be expecting more of is information.
Two ex pro's who know the game inside out.
It should be great viewing.
I've been with lots of people, not at all discriminating towards liverpool, who couldn't understand a word of what Carra says when I show them clips of his interviews, especially one in particular.I don't know why people always say they have trouble understanding Carra. I'm from the south coast near Bournemouth (so your typical southern fairy).... I don't have any problem understanding what he says.
I think a lot of people just say it because they are ignorant and probably are discriminating because he is an ex Liverpool player.
I cant wait to hear these two locking horns and giving us some decent appraisal.
I understood pretty much every word and English is not my first language.
