Just having a debate with my mate, and i'm under the opinion that had carlos been a liverpool player he'd have scored more goals for us. Ok his goalscoring record for manure wasn't outstanding, but when he was given a run out in the team consistently he did net alot more frequently. He reckons he wouldn't have been any more prolific for us than he was for manure.

What does everyone else think?

I think he suits us perfectly.

Not sure whether he would have scored more but he would have been a more influential player for us as he would have played every game and he looks like the perfcet foil for both Torres and Gerrard.

Would have ruined the club calender though....

He would've been great but it's clear we never really had the funds to compete with City after the Johnson transfer.

He's a fine player but Silva was always my main choice.
