Carabao Cup Quarter-Final

See us going out this round if we don't get Sunderland, our depth isn't there and Klopp just doesn't care.

I’d quite like to win this cup. Mainly because it shares its name with one of my favourite’The Pixies’ tunes. Oh and a water buffalo which is also quite cool.

I can totally understand there being disinterest in this cup, in amongst everything else it can be a bind. Although I like that the young lads get a chance in it ,also id love to win it now City been kicked out 😀
so I do hope we get the easy ride to give us a go

I'd honestly take Brentford (do them right this time) and Spurs too. I would also keep at least some of the kids/squaddies about up to, and including, the final too. I think Neco, Adrian, Taki and Div should all be getting a good look in.

LOL. Are you his Daddy now?
Not far off, but not quite. It isn't so hard to understand Modo. Liverpool is a family of sorts. Disfunctional, but unbreakable. None of us are going to join another one. Enough to bring a disparate bunch of people together, even in a place like this, the far reaches of LFC forums, for years, chunks of life. We're here for our adoration of a team, and our team captain is Henderson. He's family.

I get all of that, but he's still from Sunderland. He spent 13 years at the club. It's the club that's probably closest to his heart.
When I wrote "play infront of his people", I didn't just mean the Sunderland fans, I also meant his friends and family.

We're his family.

Modo’s overall sentiment for an away match to Sunderland is valid. Hendo is a sentimental guy deep down, as we saw after the Champions League. Regardless of who are his family now, he is sure to have a very soft spot for Sunderland, the team and community.

Not unlike Milner visiting Leeds.

We should have a bunch of players back by then, maybe too soon for Harvey, but I think we can line up with a decent team.
